I am a plus-sized mom-to-be so I was concerned about how this would work for me. I have been really pleased with this purchase. I am able to continue wearing my jean capris the rest of this summer, comfortably, which is such a relief. I even fit into clothes a size or two down now (a major plus for women whose size fluctuates producing wardrobes of varying sizes). I didn't see any plus-sized women review this item so I wanted to be sure I did for those who come after me. Over a couple hours or lots of movement you may have to readjust -- sometimes your pants (not theband) start creeping down a bit. But I have never had the band "fail" me or show my unbuttoned pants (yikes!). It's easy to wear, easy to adjust and most important: it's comfortable!!
