These boots are light-weight, fun and look great. I have wide calves (15") and the boots zipped up easily - no wrestling or fuss. The boots fit snugly, but not tightly, and I will be able to get them on over leggings with no problems. However, there is no padding or support and the boots can be very warm, so I would not recommend wearing them without some sort of insert for support or sweat control. Be aware, too, that the boots are made of man-made materials, sort of like a stretchy, light vinyl, and may wear out quickly depending on use. I have a similar pair in blue and can say they have held up well for several wearings with a little care.Product Description
