I like this product, even though the fit is not perfect.I wear a 38 / 40 DD depending on the maker or if there's padding, so I purchased the 2X as I'm bigger on top and these pieces aren't stretchy.I normally have issues with tops b/c sometimes I have to buy them to fit my chest but they end up being too big in the stomach.Anyway, I'm able to zip this top all the way comfortably and with support.However, the top is loose on my back a bit, and the straps as well----the back of this top and straps do not lay directly on my skin, they puff up a bit.I'm guessing that if I purchased the 1X, I would not be able to zip the top but the rest would fit me fine.So I guess if you're the average woman with an average or smaller chest and larger bottom and you wear a 14 / 16, go with the 1X.But if you have a more ample chest and broader shoulders, note that this top is not stretchy of course being that it's vinyl.I actually wore a fitted cotton / spandex tank under this top when I went out and it worked out fine without a bra due to the support of this top.Product Description
